ESICM is presenting a very attractive and up-to-date program covering all aspects of AKI and renal replacement therapy.

The specific setting of the ESICM summer conference planned for a small audience will allow strong interaction between faculty and participants.
Therefore you can expect stimulating scientific discussions and late braking study results.

Fees are kept extremely low to stimulate also participation of physicians in training (Young physicians (born on/after 01/01/1981) = 100 € Nurses/ physiotherapists & AHP = 75 €). Practical aspects of RRT will be addressed in detail on the second day offering even the possibility of hands-on trainings.

Inhoud
Tijdens deze cursus, die dit jaar voor de twintigste keer gehouden wordt, ligt de nadruk op praktische nefropathologie, dus niet op pathofysiologie, immunologie, kliniek of therapie. De inhoud bestaat uit een systematische behandeling van morfologische veranderingen (lichtmicroscopie, immuno-fluorescentie en elektronenmicroscopie) van nierziekten. Op beide cursusdagen zal een afsluitende voordracht worden gegeven over klinisch-pathologische correlaties van de op die dag behandelde ziektebeelden. Voorts zal op beide cursusdagen de mogelijkheid worden geboden tot het bestuderen van microscopische preparaten betrekking hebbende op de behandelde ziektebeelden.
Opmerking van een cursist uit een eerdere cursus: 'Zeer interactief. Houden zo!'.

Doelgroep
De cursus is primair bestemd voor pathologen en pathologen in opleiding. Nefrologen, internisten, kinderartsen en hen die in opleiding zijn voor één van deze specialismen, zijn eveneens welkom.

The lessons are given by the best international experts and the Course is attended by more than one thousand participants (nephrologists, cardiologists and internists).
